On May 22, Dr. R. Patlola, Interventional Cardiologist, Cardiovascular Institute of the South, addressed the audience at the 2012 American Heart Association CEO breakfast. Dr. Patlola discussed the economic impact of heart disease to employers and preventative measures. The meeting’s objective is to get company leaders to adopt wellness tactics in the workplace as well as generate participation in the Acadiana Heart Walk, scheduled for Saturday, November 17 in River Ranch.
