Dr. Lacie Alfonso

The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana recently announced the addition of Dr Lacie Alfonso as Medical Director of the facility’s rehabilitation and therapy services.

Dr Alfonso brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation to the new role. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Electro diagnostic Medicine. Her special interests include musculoskeletal medicine, wound care, stroke and neuromuscular rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation and orthotic, prosthetic and pain management.

Dr Alfonso will be sharing her expertise with Regional’s sister facility, Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.
